"A big, big thank you for all of the team's hard work on this project, we're really pleased, and will definitely be recommending Hark for future work." "We are really pleased with how it's all looking - we saw and heard it many many times over the past two days and it improves with familiarity! So a really grand job, thank you!” This is the kind of positive feedback we have had from JISC over the years for our animated presentations produced as a means to explain sometimes difficult and technical subjects to varied audiences in the UK and overseas. Our first project in 2005 was a CD to supplement the 'Innovative Practice with e-Learning' publication, delivered by JISC as part of the Innovation strand. In February 2006 we won a tender to design and produce a five minute animated presentation to communicate the features and benefits of a Service Orientated Architecture (SOA). The success of this animation led to a second animated presentation explaining the benefits of Shibboleth over “Athens” as the means to manage federated access to learning materials. In 2008 we were once again commissioned to produce a piece on the expanding world of Web 2.0 and how to manage the associated intellectual property rights. Our SOA animation is also available through You Tube and has recorded over 3,000 viewings. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mj-kCFzF0ME |
